Gunta Kaza

Professor of Design, Massachusetts College of Art and Design

BFA, College for Creative Studies; MFA, Rhode Island School of Design.

Gunta has worked for the design departments at WGBH Educational Foundation and Digital Equipment Corporation; and is principal/owner of Kaza Design.

Current projects include "Mute, Muse, Mutiny", a self-authored project based upon a collection of tea towels and stories.

Guest lecturer and critic at the Rhode Island School of Design, Northeastern University, Boston University and Yale University.

Exhibitions: Gallery 1581; Grimshaw-Gudewicz Gallery; RISD Museum; International Society; Boston University Fine Arts Gallery; Farwell Manison Gallery.

Recent Clients: Jane Sisco Design, Signer Harris Architects, Barat Montessori School and Boston Healthcare.

Awards/Prizes: Thomas Gonda Award for Design and Social Responsibility; Society of Publication Designers; Print Magazine; the Creative Club and the Society of Technical Communicators.
