DMI invites you to join us for final semester reviews on Monday, May 16 and MFA thesis defense presentations on Tuesday, May 16

Monday, May 16 / First and Second Year Reviews
Final reviews for first and second year DMI students are scheduled for Monday, May 16 starting at 9:00 am in Tower Building, Room 201. DMI friend, Toby Bottorf, VP, Service and Experience Design at Continuum, will join us as guest critic.

Tuesday, May 17 / Thesis Defense Presentations
Six DMI students present their MFA thesis defenses on May 17:

10:00 am — Sixten Abbot, Thing and No Thing
11:00 am — Michael Boyle, A Shift in Perspective: Challenging Perception Through Dynamic Media
12:00 pm — Andrew Ringler, Please Challenge, Create Fun

2:00 pm — Patlapa Davivongsa, Ambiguity, the New Accuracy
3:00 pm — Philip Gedarovich, Why So Serious? Musings on Play in the Digital Era
4:00 pm — Anne Sisto, Lemons

We welcome back our longtime colleague and former MassArt professor, Brian Lucid, as guest critic. Brian is currently Associate Professor and Head of School, Nga Pae Mahutonga / The School of Design, Toi Rauwharangi / College of Creative Arts, Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand.

Presentations take place in Tower Building, Room 201.
